IDCA is a pioneer and leader in dementia care education for allied health professionals in the Philippines who want to dedicate their profession to the care of the elderly with dementia. Our academic faculty consists of specialists and experts in diverse areas of practice related to aging and dementia. They work together to conceptualize and deliver the programs of the institute through a certification course and seminars throughout the country.

IDCA continuously collaborates with local and international networks to constantly improve its learning programs in order to advance the quality and standard of dementia care. The Scientific Advisory Board is determined to set standards in dementia care education and explore innovative ways such as foreign language programs to respond to the global demand for dementia care.

IDCA is committed to provide dementia care education to informal dementia carers as well with the belief that the well-being of the elderly with dementia is contingent on the quality of care they experience with their carers in their homes.
